Mpeg2 Encoding Guide TMPEnc (Ver 1.0a)

So some people are getting to the
point they want to do a final encode
and see how it looks. At this point we still don't have a guideline
for the font and title text for the MTV style video information. THUS,
DO NOT DELETE YOUR PROJECT FILES. YOU MUST BE ABLE
TO EXPORT YOUR VIDEO OVER AND OVER! Please! :)
So here are some screen shots from
the tmpgenc mpeg settings menu. I
recommend you save this as a special setting so you don't have to
change it every time. Also note that some of the settings don't
actually save and you have to go back and check them. Thus I am
not giving you a zip with project settings. (this is from my experiences...)
If something is glaringly wrong with
these settings PLEASE TELL ME,
I am not the mpeg master so don't hesitate to correct me.
[Update] You are welcome to raise the max bitrate... 9000+ if you really think the quality is low...
Magical "Deinterlace" ...
be sure to double click it and choose the appropriate type... I am still unsure
of this one... :(
[Update] Try the Double method of deinterlace. Be
sure to slide through your video in the preview window and see how it looks.
