Adding MTV titles to your video

Every video in the project is required to have MTV titles for proper identification. Here are the guidelines on how to add them in your video.

Your titles must be in the lower left corner of your video in the title safe area and they must go by the following format..

Remix name
Remixer (Use winamp to look in the id3 tag for the artist if available)
Anime Source
Editor Name

This was done in photoshop with an Arial Black font, size 24, with a stroke of 2 in black, and a drop shadow applied. I would highly recommend using the Arial Black font for good readability. I would also advise using a border/stroke/drop shadow if your titles will be against bright footage.

Your MTV titles should only last around 3-5 seconds in length. Make sure you give us enough time to read them! :P

Title safe area explained

The title safe zone inside of a 720 x 480 video is 648 x 432 centered inside. Make sure your titles are kind of away from the actual edges and DO NOT place them exactly on the edges! Or else when you watch your video on a TV, your titles will be cropped out and nobody can read them :(

I know everyone uses a different editor to place something simple like text, but I hope this gives you a general idea on how to place your MTV titles in your video :)
